Daniel D Scroggin was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended college at UCSD, UCLA and Montana State University and earned a Bachelor's of Arts in History. During college he became a Flight Instructor and Airline Pilot. He was diagnosed with testicular Cancer when he was 25. After two surgeries, he went on to become a professional pilot and has flown over a hundred different kinds of aircraft. He loves aviation! At 45, he started riding bicycles and is still at it today. He has traveled to Europe, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, and the Middle East. He has always had an interest in World History and enjoys traveling. Today, he writes a daily "blog" and encourages people think about what is going on around them. He likes to challenge "preconceptions" and "encourages" young people to start micro businesses. He enjoys meeting new people and learning from them. He is an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society, the Salvation Army, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
