This is my old XP HP laptop computer. I am on an Windows 8.1 now. Yes, I like stickers. Last week, the current US federal administration is making due on its threat to turn the internet domain control over to a "international consortium" which is run under the auspices of the United Nations. They, in turn, plan to tax internet activity. So, now the UN will have a continuous cash flow to advanced their one world agenda. What is that agenda? Good question. And that is the great conundrum. At present, the "internet" represents what the founding fathers had intended when they formed the United States of America. Their intention? FREEDOM OF THE PRESS! Now at last, the world has access to this privilege and the UN is trying to curtail it. NOT SO FAST! That's the way I see it, March 31st, 2014.
American politics is like a gigantic "black hole." The two party system is essentially dead. All lies exhibited by either the Democratic or Republican parties falls into the bottomless pit of narcissism.
Under the perception that the "government cares" about you, the politicians perpetuate their careers, knowing full well the apathy of the American public at large and their collective unwillingness to force term limits on these numbskulls will never materialize. And so the demise of the "constitutional republic" of the United States will continue. Unfortunately, it appears that no one really cares. The "people" are too busy texting, Netflixing, surfing porn, Facebooking or Tweeting, to understand or notice that the society around them is being redefined. There is a small percentage of people, the unemployed, who are starting to get it. Maybe, the epiphany is just around the corner, maybe not. I have already decided to take a long overseas vacation if either a Bush or Clinton ends up as President, go figure. That's the way I see it, March 28th, 2014.
"There is no god but God and Muhammad is the messenger of God." (read from right to left) Notice the sword. This only has one meaning, I will leave that to your imagination. It is the flag of the House of Al Saud, the ruling Wahabi family. It is the sect of Islam responsible for 9/11. This week, an American White House journalist was denied his Saudi visa to cover President Obama because he is Jewish. Saudi Arabia is a country which does not recognize Israel (FYI-Turkey recognized Israel in 1949.) Saudi Arabia is a country which perpetuates hatred across the globe, not by exporting Islam, but by disseminating an Arab/Medieval culture that redefines any sense of reason. It is certainly not a paradigm which fits into modern day society. I wonder if the Saudis know that Jews helped build their cars, airplanes, computers, and their oil empire that they are so dependent on? I wonder if they acknowledge the "jewish tribes" that exist within the country? If the Arab Spring has proven anything, it has shown the world that the "era" of dictatorships is coming to a close. Those societies that fail to embrace compassion, democratic ideals, human rights, and respect for others will fall by the wayside. Just ask Assad of Syria, "Hey, how's that civil war working out for ya?" And that's the way I see it, March 27th, 2014.
I am a retired professional pilot, not a rocket scientist. Technology is not out of reach. In fact, it is on an exponential curve and society is having a difficult time keeping up. However, how many people have access to GPS systems? And yes, it is that easy to locate yourself anywhere in the world with a system (Apple ipad) and know exactly where you are. It is just as simple to broadcast to the satellite your exact position. The JAA and the FAA do not make it regulatory. Therefore, why do it? So, yes, the next step is simple. All airliners should broadcast their position and dispatch should have "real time" tracking abilities. Guess what, there are no "black holes." So once again, it takes the death of more people to motivate the "powers that be." And, yep, that's the way I see it, today, March 25th, 2014.
Pope Francis strikes again. I am not a Catholic, but I like this Pope! He rocks!
"Blood-stained money, blood-stained power — you can't bring it with you to your next life," the pontiff said during a prayer vigil in Rome for victims of mob violence.
"There's still time to not end up in Hell, which is what awaits you if you continue on this path."
This was the message from the pontiff to the Mafia in Italy. No diplomacy, no negotiations, just basic "fire and brimstone." He says what he means, and means what he says. And that's the way I see it, March 24th, 2014.
Well, yesterday, Turkey decided to down a Syrian Mig-23 jet fighter. The Russian made aircraft was shot out of the sky by an American made F-16. The Syrian civil war enters into its fourth year this month. 140,000 dead, 2.5 million refugees, fighters from all over the muslim world killing each other, a dictator (Assad) and his family still clinging to power with Russian/Iranian/Hezbollah support, and, wait for it, ...NO END IN SIGHT! Yep, the Syrian war is now the United Nations grand spectacle of failure. Take that NATO! It was easy for the US and NATO to go into Libya and take out Gaddafi since he could not fight back, but Syria? Hmm, pucker factor! Maybe they could go to Damascus and negotiate a truce. Oh, yeah, forgot, they already tried that...and at the expense of Syrian lives. The chances of Syria becoming a failed state like Somalia are very high. Good luck cleaning that up! And that's the way I see it, March 22nd, 2014.
As of last month, according to the US Department of Labor, there are 91.8 million Americans not working. Huh? What? Don't believe me, look it up. Also, the average US citizen over fifty, 37% of them only have $1000.00 in their combined checking and savings accounts. Now, here is the real question. Why doesn't anybody care? Why is there not a concerted effort to resolve this problem? Why is there so much apathy? Unfortunately, nobody will really take notice until it is too late. What happens when it is too late? What does that mean? Revolution? Civil war? Riots? Marshall law? Well, my little Jedi, are you prepared? Will you survive? If you think competition is bad, just wait until someone tries to take your dinner. And depending on your perspective, that's the way I see it, March 21st, 2014, the first day of Spring.
The Information Revolution is here. I call it the InfoRevo. What is it? It is the unbridled use of the internet and the tools that connect to it. At first glance, it appears now as chaos across the globe. Dictatorships are falling, entire societies are crumbling, masses of people from Greece, Turkey, Kiev, Syria, Egypt, Caracas, Bangkok, ad-infinitum now have access to, wait for it, freedom. It may not be the freedom we are use to seeing here in the West, but freedom to access all kinds of information is completely liberating to most of the planet! This is changing everything, the old rules that managed societies no longer apply. Information is freedom. Knowledge is the most powerful gift from the universe. The pocket computers we call cell phones and tablets have now accelerated the demise of the "old regime" of controlling the population. We now sit in the "transition," and it is this "transition" that will and presently is changing the face of Arakis (from Dune.) And that's the way I see it, March 20th, 2014.
It has now been over a week since a Malaysian Boeing 777 disappeared in the middle of the night with 239 passengers on board. There are over 25 countries involved in the search for this massive aircraft. Theories range from terrorism, state sponsored kidnapping, rouge pilots, nose gear fire, to the one I like best...the aircraft is sitting in a hangar being prepared for its next mission. If the latter is true, the powers that be better take notice. In this post 9/11 world you better start thinking outside of the box. The IDF in Israel put their air defense on high alert two days after the plane vanished. And that's the way I see it, today, March 19th, 2014.
In less than a month, Russia occupied a sovereign state, held a referendum, and passed into law making Crimea part of the Russian Federation. While the U.S. and the Europeans protested, they did little to stop it. If the goal of NATO was to encroach into the Russian sphere of influence, they have now been handed their hat. The economic ties that exist between Europe and Russia will determine the final outcome of this scenario. U.S. foreign policy is forever damaged. Whether or not Russia expands its control over the Ukrainian state will no doubt depend on western resolve. So far, rhetoric has not been enough and is inadequate when it is staring down the barrel of a gun. An that's the way I see it, March 17th, 2014.
