Over sixty-five years has past since the Korean War ended. It was the first attempt by the United Nations to solve a problem. They failed. Today, under so-called "communist rule," this regime dominated by a family dynasty continues to threaten the world. However, the stakes are much higher now. With North Korea's expansion on nuclear weapons, aided by both Pakistan, China, and Iran, the current level of threat has reached an "unacceptable" level. Not only does North Korea's threats toward Japan, South Korea, and the United States continue, it appears now that China realizes that the status quo of "strategic patience" is over. Any nation, any, that threatens the world at large with nuclear war will find that position unsustainable. North Korea's weaponization of nukes poses several problems. First, of course, is that they might use them. Second, they may sell them to another rouge nation or terrorist organization. Third, they may sell the technology. All of these points, all of them, are unacceptable. The past U.S. administrations tried to "negotiate" with this country to no avail. Now, after all attempts to prevent North Korea from attaining nuclear weapons, the country not only has them, but is now miniaturizing them for use on multiple missile platforms, including ICBMs that can reach the U.S. mainland. While it is obvious that North Korea is a "clear and present danger," the real problem lies with its neighbor, China. After all, North Korea is, and has always been, China's creation. Therefore, and rightly so, it can only be with China's cooperation that North Korea's course be changed. China realizes that the situation has gone way too far. With a concerted effort by China, the United States, Japan, Russia, and South Korea the re-unification of the Korean Peninsula can not only be a possible outcome, but, maybe the only one short of all-out war. Just think of it. North Korea making I-phones, Samsung T.V.s, KIAs, and Hyundais. It can happen. It is very possible. Re-train all those North Korean soldiers and generals into a capitalist money making machine. Give China first dibs. The North Koreans will be better off, we will be happy, and, in all likelihood, a major war can be prevented. Wishful thinking, maybe, but I can guarantee this, the end of the North Korean regime is coming, sooner or later. If you don't believe me, just ask Fidel Castro's brother, Raul. This is the name of my new rock group, just kidding. However, in retrospect, it might not be a bad idea. With all that has happened over the past year I am still a little surprised that our nation is intact. On the political spectrum it appears that the losing side is not happy with their lot in life. Liberalism has taken a turn for the worst. A year ago they gave Trump only an 8% chance of winning the election. Today, he is the President, or rather, from the Democrat point of view, " He is not my President," and, so the mantra goes. Unfortunately for them, yes, he is, he is THEIR President. Whether they like it or not is another matter. The Democratic/Liberal view of the world is really quite disturbing. While on one side they paint all Conservatives as racist, anti-environment, and hate-mongers, the Democrat/Liberals commit acts of violence, riot, lie, falsify the news, and encourage civil war inside their own government. Harsh, you say? Not really. ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC commit acts of sedition on a daily basis. Under the so called "free press" protection of the constitution, they actually assert disrupting the government they claim to protect. If for ANY reason you disagree with them, any reason, they start a riot. Take the so called "women's march" after the inaugural of President Trump. The entire "march" was a total "protest" of the election of Donald Trump. But, instead of saying that they were upset with the election, they painted the parade about women. Well, it was not about women, that was clear, especially after you view so called "women" walking around with vaginas on their heads. Huh? Sorry, I diverge. There is a very famous saying, "Liberalism is a form of mental disease." As so it is. Personally, I have tried to cut them some slack. But after their movement endorsed the killing of our nation's police officers I gave up all hope. Sorry, but that is the truth. When any society decides to attack their own law enforcement community it is the "beginning" of the end. Aristotle said, "...apathy and liberalism are the last two attributes of a dying society." We may have come that far. Over the last one-hundred days we have witnessed a massive assault of the Federal Government by the Democratic/Liberal parties. They have collectively, along with the press, attacked the new administration at every turn. They want a total capitulation of the Trump Administration, they want blood. They are laying the groundwork for trying to create another "civil war" within the boundaries of the United States. Only if cool heads prevail can this be stopped. Let's hope and pray they don't get their wish. That's the way I see it, today, April 23rd, 2017.
