Ah, isn't that cute. The little Florida terrorist is holding a cat! This stupid dumb shit drove a bomb laden truck yesterday in Syria and caused a lot of damage. Of course, the al-Qaeda linked group that blew him and his target up are just tickled pink that they recruited this knucklehead. Oh, this guy's terrorist name was Abu Hurayra Al-Amriki, which translated means "I am a really stupid American." His given American name was Moner Mohammad Abu-Saiha. Uh, sure it was. Translated it meant, "you really don't have any idea what a stupid dumbshit I am!" By the way, there is an American law that says if you give your child a stupid name like that they put both parents in jail forever and throw away the keys. Really, you named your kid that? It does sound like a good old American name now, doesn't it? No wonder he was so screwed up. I can just imagine what the kids at school said to him, "Hey, what the F___ did you say your name was?" I am sure by now the FBI and Homeland Security has targeted the entire family for surveillance. Good for them. That's how I see it, May 31st, 2014.
Yesterday, a suicide bomber was caught at a checkpoint in Israel. It was 95 degrees. The bomber was wearing a full length trench coat. Yeah, he looked suspicious! He either wanted to be caught or was targeting the checkpoint. He is currently being interrogated to see if he was just a lone bomber or whether or not he was recruited by another organization (read Hamas). Either way, the alertness of the team saved the day. The bomb belt he wore was later blown up. Needless to say, peace in the Middle East is a long way off. As long as Hamas continues to commit acts of terrorism you can assume all bets are off the table. Besides, if the Muslim community had wanted peace they would of chosen it by now. I am a believer of "peace through strength." But, having said that, the world no longer perceives the United States as a power broker...and that is causing all kinds of problems worldwide. So, that's how I see it today, May 30th, 2014.
A US Marine, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, an active duty veteran has been locked up in a Mexican prison for over two months. He was chained to a bed for over a month! When the chains were removed he could hardly walk. O.K., I have a message for Mexico. Release him immediately or face the consequences. For every illegal Mexican in the U.S. our government bills Mexico 10,000 dollars. Failure to pay the fine results in immediated trade sanctions. Repatriate hundreds of Mexicans back to Mexico every day. Cancel all flights to Mexico immediately. Close the border. Shut down all wire transfers of money across the border. Go totally public with all the torture that goes on in Mexico by the Mexican government. Start a worldwide campaign to destroy all Mexican tourism. Cancel all visas. Hey, Mexico, are you getting the message. Take your corrupt government, your third world country, your stinking drug lords and ...well, you know what I am going to say. Release Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi NOW! FYI, I stopped going to Mexico to visit over ten years ago when Juarez became a killing field. And for the uninformed reader, the real terrorists are south of the border! Don't believe me, take a trip across the border and see what happens! Yep, that's the way I see it, today, May 29th, 2014.
Looks like the White House blew it again. My recommendation is that the current administration fire everyone on the payroll and start over! Evidently, someone outed the Afghanistan CIA Station Chief. Name, email, phone number, twitter and facebook account, instagram, yahoo, gmail, google plus ...oh, whatever. Hey, the good news is this. For the first time in over 5 years the Obama Administration launched an internal probe within HOURS of the mea-culpa. This is great! Someone over there is actually starting to do their job! Finally, we may have some resolution to the current stupidity which seems to permeate Washington D.C. FYI, the CIA director will now have to be removed. His best bet at this point is to publish a book and go on the Tonight Show. Maybe do a reality T.V. series or something! Can't hurt now. All the bad guys know where he and his family live now. PATHETIC. I have said this before, and at the risk of sounding redundant, YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! That's how I see it, from my hidden bunker at a hotel in America, May 28th, 2014.
These six beautiful young adults were killed last week by an asshole. Three of them were killed by knives while the others were shot to death. The good news is that the killer put a bullet in his head. Gun control advocates are going full steam. We also need knife control. Sorry. The gun control issue I won't address here. What we really need in MENTAL HEALTH CONTROL. But before that, we unfortunately need something else. We need to address the fact that our society is falling apart all around us. We need to build a society of "hope." Why do you think religions of the world flourish? It is because they provide HOPE, hope for humanity. It is very difficult living in the "human condition." We can not, I repeat, can not do it all on our own. That is not our nature. We need help and we need to work as a team. Each and everyone of you need to commit an act of KINDNESS for someone else, TODAY! Start here, start now. Change your society, change your world. Go make a difference! That's how I see it, today, May 28th, 2014.
A special weekend in Destin, Florida. I was standing by the bridge, yesterday, mouth agape, as I watched thousands of people walk around a sand bar with just as many watercraft bobbing beside them. The picture really does it no justice. Scantily clad girls and board short guys with beer bellies all frolicking in the beautiful gulf waters. There was even a floating bar to increase the alcohol consumption if you forgot to bring your own. I am guessing maybe around five thousand or more people? Quite a spectacle. I asked whether or not I could swim the short channel to the sand bar. Probably not, if the current does not get you, maybe a propeller will. It was 85-90 degrees. I was envious of missing an adventure. The the beer drinking family beside me on the shoreline reminded of the not so obvious. Hmm, all those people standing there, drinking and playing, with no place to pee! I started laughing and couldn't stop as I said, YUK! That's how I see it, today, May 25th, 2014.
Last week China and Russia inked a $400 billion natural gas deal. China needs multiple energy streams in order to satisfy is continued growing economy. Sounds boring. It's not. Russia needed the income and legitimacy and China wants to keep the lights on. China is now the number one economy in the world. A position the United States has long held. They passed us up. It is simple math. It is also the sign of the times. For now, it appears that Chinese communism, aka state sponsored cronie capitalism, is now the business model coveted by all the MBA schools. The other fallout in this new economy is the Russia-Iran-China triad. This relationship is more militaristic than economic. Remember, in world politic there is the "us versus them" syndrome. We're us, they are them. That's how I see it, May 24th, 2014.
Well, I had to write about this. The U.S. executive branch of government will issue a MEMO on the legitimacy of drone warfare today. Specifically, that the U.S. has the right to target U.S. citizens overseas. Granted, they can not use the drones to blast the suspects to smithereens inside the United States, but outside, yep, they are fair game. Personally, I am totally against drone warfare. It is the cowards way to fight a war. It does not resolve problems, but it does exaggerate them. It creates enemies where before there were none. It violates international law. It proves, once again, that might is right. How come you don't see the U.S. using drone warfare against China or Russia? I will tell you why. Because both of those countries can fight back! So, it must be O.K. to use them against countries who can't fight back. Believe me or not, this policy will haunt the U.S. for decades to come. If you want to fight a war, declare it, go fight it, and hopefully, win. I have flown aircraft for 30 years and I am no fan of bears in the air. That is the way I see it, May 21st, 2014.
Wow! Eric Holder surprised me today by actually strapping on a pair of huevos rancheros and going public with his discontent about China's cyber warfare program. Good for him. A day late and another dollar short. At least it is out in the public arena now. The next decade will mark the new world order as mega nations go for the gold! Everybody is spying on everybody. Cyber warfare is here to stay. You might be happy watching your teenager finger their Samsung S4 or Apple Iphone 5c, but make no mistake, the computers are HERE TO STAY! And, they are, listen carefully now, taking over. Companies, defense industries, governments, individuals all know now what is painfully obvious. Society, worldwide, is now connected. Even a little edge can make a difference. I wasn't joking around last week when I mentioned that Samsung and Apple might take over the world. Mega-bucks! China will keep pushing, best case scenario...Push back...oh yeah, forgot, that is Buddhism. The U.S. needs to step up it's efforts and may the best cyber-hacker win! That's how I see it, today, May 20th, 2014.
Michelle Obama has done little to earn my respect over the past five years. It is what it is. However, her recent involvement and commitment to save the 300 kidnapped children in Nigeria is her saving grace. This is what we need in America... Leadership. She is the wife of the President of the United States of America and I salute her for bringing this tragedy home to bear. By publicizing this issue, she can bring world wide pressure to the forces that be, and, hopefully, have a successful resolution. It may be a day late and a dollar short though. Boko Haram has already threatened to sell the children into slavery or marry them off for money. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Nigeria is becoming a failed state in Africa, overpopulation, corruption, Islamic-Jihadist revolutionaries, a failed democratic government, and of course, the main driver...POVERTY. Uncovering the problem in this county is like pulling back the sheets, only to discover a bed-bug infestation! Solution. You have to throw out the entire bed. That's how I see it today, May 19th, 2014. I pray the children get home. Michelle, keep the pressure on!
