The dictator is dead. "When violence is exercised by the working people, by the mass of exploited against the exploiters — then we are for it! Vladimir Lenin." Certainly, Fidel Castro embodied this basic tenet of Communism. Kill or be killed. The exact number of people Castro murdered still seems to be a state secret. Estimates hover around nearly one-hundred thousand. Of course, how else can a dictator remain in power, violence is the only way. That is how Communist governments hold onto power. Stalin and Mao Tse Tung, along with their minions in Laos and Vietnam, killed millions. Oh, let's not leave North Korea out, wouldn't want to make them feel unwanted. Today, of course, in China you have post-reform Communism which rejects the teaching of Mao and embraces Capitalism. Be what may, this form of state sponsored single party economics has proven very successful. Back to Castro. In short, he was a criminal. Just like all of his predecessors before him. The difference, he was just better at it. As a trained lawyer, schooled by Catholicism, Castro veered off the path toward the dark side. Learning his trade of killing in the Dominican Republic and Columbia he started his first coup in 1953, failed, and was sent to jail. After that he left for Mexico, built an army, returned, and the rest is history. The great land of Cuba has paid the price ever since. The people are not free. Castro created a family run socialist monstrosity the likes not seen in a long time. Being a small country, he kept his family close at hand. Today, Raul, his brother runs the regime. But, Havana is changing. The recent restoration of diplomacy between the United States and Cuba marks this change. A change brought on by technology, the internet. Truth, freedom, and human rights can not be suppressed when the peasantry has access to cell phones, laptops, and computers. That's it. The flow of information coupled with technology can now be credited, albeit slowly, with the fall of Castro. When Obama went to Cuba this year, that was the final nail in the coffin. It will still take time, a lot of it, for Cuba to recover. For over half a century the people of this country have suffered. Their 1950's Chevys a testament. Today, in Miami, and all last night, the Cuban exiles are having the biggest party of their lives. A party way over due. Raul will probably continue a slow but deliberate transition to a market based economy. He really has no choice. After all, even the brothers of dictators need money. That's the way I see it, today, November 26th, 2016.
Enough! I call on the Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama to come out this very moment and denounce this outrageous police killing phenomenon. Now! In the last 24 hours another four police officers were shot in the line of duty, two dead. All leaders, both Federal and State need to come to the defense of our nation's finest. It has gone too far! I can not even express in words how upset I am. If the United States condones the killing of its own, maybe it is time to look for another country to live in. The Left's agenda, and the Right's lack of backbone, has created an atmosphere of civil disobedience unlike any time in the history of this nation. Mark my words, if this is not turned around now, there may be no way back. Any society that let's its own Police Officers get killed on a daily basis is a society that is dying. Only chaos can follow. What if every officer in this country decided to stay at home tomorrow? How long would YOU last? A day, a week? Not very long. Riots would break out everywhere, the thugs would steal everything you had, possibly take your life. If you think you can sit on the sidelines and watch this crap continue from your T.V., like football, think again. Your very existence is at stake now. Foreign nations, China, Europe, Russia, and the rest of the world are watching as we kill ourselves, destroy our public institutions, destroy our entire sense of ethics. Not only are we killing ourselves, we are killing the ideas that made us great. Just yesterday, China surmised publicly that the American democratic institutions are an existential threat to their national security. Maybe, they are right. I am beginning to wonder. What follows now will determine the path that we will take. Either the leaders stand up and stop this violence today, or the country that has led the free world for over 240 years continues to die. How sad. How can a country with all the benefits of Democracy, free enterprise, intellectual institutions, allow itself to be consumed by the fire of hate? How does that happen? Does it happen because the people walked away from God? Does it happen because of the narcissist culture of selfishness? Does it happen because the media misleads the public? Or, does it happen because, deep down, inside, nobody gives a shit? I just don't get it. I expect the leaders to stand up and proclaim in no uncertain terms that the United States of America is going to change its course. That's the way I see it, today, November 21st, 2016. May the memories of the fallen, the one's who protect us every day with their courage, be blessed, now and forever.
I have tried to keep my political views in the middle. Trying to be open minded, fair, but, that is all over now, post election. The "left" has gone too far. While in the past I gave them a pass, no more. It has become quite apparent over the last two weeks after the Democratic election of Donald Trump that America is a divided country. The dictionary defines the left as "a group or party favoring liberal, socialist, or radical views." Now, let that sink in. Over the past two weeks the anti-media has attacked President-elect Donald Trump with abandon. They have called for his assassination and the raping of his wife. They have marched across the land in so-called "protests" while being paid by George Soros. They have committed acts of violence and have already caused the death of one young man. But, to add insult to injury, on a recent domestic flight they booed the family of a dead soldier killed in Afghanistan last week. I am done. If the left wants to bring on a civil war inside the United States I say let them do it. Then, let them reap the consequences. Inside all this insane mentally disturbed thinking lies a massive "media system" which continues to stoke the fires of discontent by literally lying to the people of America. Day after day, hour after hour, minute by minute they espouse their excrement and then ask you to breath it in. Unbelievable. With the entire system on their side they believed in their own lies and still LOST the election. In fact, not since 1928 have the Democrats been handed such a defeat. The Democratic Party is now a source of EVIL. That's it. They have nothing to say and everyone, including themselves, know it. They are morally bankrupt. Believe me when I say this, they will continue to lie, cheat and steal, but now they will most likely be prosecuted for it. Why they are already calling for a "pardon" for Hillary Clinton. But two weeks ago they said she was "not guilty." Sorry you can not have it both ways. For those of you who do not like my opinion, too bad. That's the way I see it, today, November 19th, 2016.
It has not even been a week since the Presidential election of 2016. Over the past few days the country has witnessed riots and protests the likes not seen in a long time. However, the protests are not about something that is wrong, but rather what went right. The "system" decided to give the country "a change you can believe in." Yes, tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets to express their discontent. Unfortunately, those same people, at least some of them, decided not to get up and vote. At present, the statistics say that Barack Obama polled 5-6 million more voters than Hillary Clinton. That says it all. Barack got the vote out, Hillary did not. It is that simple. There is an additional fact. Donald Trump also got the vote out. What Mitt Romney could not do, Donald did. President-elect Donald Trump managed to get millions of voters out that sat at home during the 2012 election. And so, democracy rears its head again. Whether you like the results of this election or not, you have to admit, the pendulum swings both ways. I find the following very interesting, though. The entire media system was against Donald Trump. The T.V. shows, including Saturday Night Live, was against Trump. The polling system was against Trump. Every talk show, newspaper, you name it, was against Trump. The Democratic Party was against Trump (that's a given and expected.) And, finally, and this is the kicker, the Republican Party big wigs were all against Trump. So, the question is this. With all this momentum against a person and his ideas what does it say about America that he won? There is only one, and only one answer. The "establishment" was lying, period. The "myth" is now broken. Over half the country who decided to put Donald Trump into office knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the "system" is corrupt and the media is a puppet of the Democratic Party. Come what may, whatever befalls this nation, the truth is out. Will the "system" change? I doubt it. It will continue to complain, malign, lie, entertain, and mislead the masses. After all, that IS what a propaganda machine is suppose to do. And, now the ugly secret of this machine is clearly on display for all to see. That's the way I see it, today, November 13th, 2016.
While the battle continues to rage in Mosul, the U.S. just announced that it will be deploying an Army battalion on the Polish border with Russia. The United States has been involved in a pro-longed war status since the beginning of the 90's. That adds up to over 25 years of policy defined by armaments. Recently, there was a quote by a writer who stated, "the business of China is business, the business of the U.S. is bombs." This statement, while inflammatory, is not very far off the mark. The deal made with the Soviet Union (read Russia) back in the early 90's was simple. Give back Germany and NATO will back off your borders. The Clinton, Bush, and now the Obama administrations have reneged on the deal. The Russian response is entirely predictable. Today, Russia has annexed part of the Ukraine, increased its support for both the Syrian and Iranian dictatorships, deployed nuclear tipped missiles on European borders, redeployed its naval fleet to the Mediterranean Sea, advanced it cyber warfare policy against the West, and has set its population on a war footing. In short, the U.S. and European policy of handling Russia has failed. Tensions are increasing, in fact, it is highly possible that a "mis-step" might occur. Keep in mind, Russia still owns and controls the second largest nuclear stockpile on the planet. We know it, and, so do they. The policy with Russia should not be one of conflict, but of reconciliation. The West has been trying to decide the fate of Russia for almost one hundred years, and, at every step it has failed. It is now time to hit the "re-set" button and come up with a new plan. While Hillary proposes more "conflict," the Donald is proposing reconciliation. Of course, we all know you can't trust "Presidential politics." I hope and pray that tensions can be reduced between the Bear and the West, but I am not optimistic. Until the West gets back to the business of business the policy of building armaments will probably take precedence. And this, my dear reader, is the problem. That's the way I see it, today, November 6th, 2016.
