Yep, political bias. Sad, but true? Depends on your perspective. I for one am sick and tired of all the political rhetoric. While our two party system continues to alienate the public, I am finding it a little boring, and I mean boring. "I hate you!...I hate you back!" There, I said it. American politics summed up in one sentence. I remember in Jr. High School I was asked to run for something. I said no. Then I watched on a elementary level the games of childhood politics play out as the kids like me ran for office. "Vote for me!" "Why?" ...because I am better than you. Not much has changed. I would like to believe that the two-party system is the best form of government. Alas, it is not. The amount of grid lock in our nations capital is enough that all politicians should request an enema prior to speaking. Their constipation is so bad it is a wonder, as a people, we put up with it. Take the 18 month charade of Russian Collusion? Sorry, if anyone was guilty, they would be strung up by now. Oh, don't forget the FISA Memo. The what? Whatever...if and when this memo gets published I doubt very seriously that it will make any sense after all the redaction's. I know, I am suppose to accept the premise that our system of government is suppose to be chaotic, the executive, the legislature, the judicial branch, and all that. But give me a break! Either the media is totally screwing us or we are all f*cked up! Which is it? I do have a proposal, though. Revive Article V of the Constitution. That's where two-thirds of the States get together and re-write some of the stuff that does not work. I.E.,new term limits on Congress. I.E., the Executive Branch declaring war without Congressional approval. I.E., political hacks in the IRS, EPA, FBI, etc., etc. The American public deserves better. Maybe it is time now for the political big Whigs to step out of the way and let the people re-assert their right to govern the land. The fact that the Federal Government is now the biggest employer in the land is self-explanatory. So, as the machinations of political verbiage continues to assault our senses, as the media circus keeps the elephants dancing, and as the two-party system fluctuates and pollutes our dignity, the American people continue to rise every morning, go to work, and hope for the best. Remember, this IS entertainment at its finest! Nowhere on earth can you find "freedom at work" like here in the United State of America! That's the way I see it, today, February 1st, 2018.
