After 5 years, Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was released yesterday by the Taliban. They traded him for 5 Gitmo prisoners. Fair trade? Irrelevant. I am touched to the soul that this young man is on his way back to the United States. He is in Germany now for evaluation and rehab. He was held prisoner for 4 years and 10 months. I remember when he was captured. I had just lost my job from an aerospace company that had filed bankruptcy. I remember that he had walked off base for some reason without permission. Who cares! Bowe, you have my heartfelt thanks for serving our country and if there is anything I can do for you please contact me! For those of you reading this let's put together an internet campaign to raise some money so his transition is easier. More details to come. Again bro, THANKS, you are loved here and we honor you. WELCOME HOME! That's how I see it today, in the land of the free, June 1st, 2014.
