History is a story in the making. After the Roman Empire realized that they could not stem the tide of Christianity they adopted it as the state religion. For nearly two thousand years the rise of this new religion spread throughout Europe and the Middle East. Then came the second act, the British Empire. For a while, the sun never set and God Save the Queen was the motto. The British ruled the land, the sea, and the trade. Toward the end of the 18th century a new power developed called the Industrial Revolution. People started making things. Machines, trains, planes, automobiles, electronic devices, factories, and such. Today, right now, the Fourth Paradigm Shift has already started and has shown no signs of weakness. The information age, the internet, the screens, have all but taken over. Social Media, Network News, the Internet, and your smart phone have changed everything, everything. Mega-Tech companies such a Google, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon has all but eclipsed most governments with respect to revenue. In fact, these corporations represent a new found power unlike anything in history. Never has so much money been concentrated in the hands of so few. What you hear, what you see, what you think, everything, is now being funneled through the siphon of Mega-Tech. He/she who controls this network, controls the world. Make no mistake about it. In the last five years we have witnessed entire governments fall due to this influence. Remember Libya? Remember Egypt? Syria? ...and Iran is holding onto power, barely. Last month this country, Iran, had to shut down social media in order to prevent a revolution. So, the question is this. Who controls Social Media? Mark Zuckerberg? Bill Gates? Tim Cook? Another question concerns the relationship between governments and the so-called Mega-Tech companies. Just how much influence does the U.S., the European Union, or Chinese governments have over these companies? Just who is in charge? The government? The CEOs? Today, a political spectrum inside the United States uses Network Media to control nearly 90% of what you can watch on the television. These companies own over 85% of all the local networks across the country. Not only is this not fair, it is an illegal monopoly. Just as the robber barons of the early twentieth century had to be curtailed, i.e. Standard oil, these Mega-Tech monsters must also be reigned in. Just how much power should they have? Just what should they tell you what to think? All I can say is this... This Fourth Revolution through the monopoly of controlling information is unlike anything anyone could of imagined. Google tracks my email. Facebook tracks who I talk to. Twitter lets me tweet, but remembers everything I say. As millions of young people grow up with a smartphones in their hands it remains to be seen where they will go. Will they go an become mindless minions like sheep to slaughter, become self absorbed narcissistic trolls, or will they become the most well educated, well read thinkers and leaders and build a better tomorrow. Who knows? In any case, the game is afoot. The more things change, the more things remain the same. The future will be controlled by artificial intelligence, and the powers that control A.I. will control everything. That's the way I see it, today, January 17th, 2018.
-The trumpet has sounded. It has been nearly a year since Donald Trump became the President of the United States. It has also been nearly a year since the unmitigated onslaught of biased media began its relentless attack on the Trump Administration. The Russia collusion probe, the Democratic purchase of a false dossier from a Russian spy, the personal attacks on Trump's family to include his son Baron, and the choreographed daily news network attacks on the administration are all designed to de-legitimize President Trump and his administration. Make no mistake, this deliberate bias has only one goal, to destroy the credibility of a sitting president. While the left, liberal, Democrats continue their onslaught they fail to examine the repercussions of their actions. After a landslide loss of the electoral college, after lying to the public through the so-called polls, the Democratic party has all but assured themselves as a defunct political entity. A party based on lies and deceit can not stand. Even today, as I write this column, the Democratic Party still has no platform, none. They have destroyed what little credibility they had left. Each and every day the biased networks proclaim their false agenda, their legitimacy falters. No one, not even the newscasters, believe their "self-identified" rhetoric. As Joseph Goebbels, Hitlers right-hand man, said, "tell a big enough lie and long enough, it becomes the truth." And, this seems to be the mantra of the Democratic Party. Tell a big lie, tell it all day long. And that, whether you choose to believe it or not, is the platform of the Democratic Party. However, when you own all the public broadcasting stations, as the left does, it is still no wonder that they continue to believe that they can "influence" the American public. In fact, they still do. What they fail to understand is that everyone knows it is still a lie. Yes, there still are stupid people out there and they will believe anything they see on television. But, as the last election proved, just because you think its true, its not. Hence, the public of the United States defeated Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump became president, fair and square. Even Barack Obama had to make a call to Hillary to tell her to "give it up, you lost." And that is exactly "What Happened."
Now, don't get me wrong here. I am not a fan of the Republican Party. I feel they are just as entrenched as the Democrats. What I admire about President Donald Trump is that he went against both parties, almost independent, and won the game. And, a game it is. While the two party system still licks its wounds, while Trump's style continues to irritate the establishment, just remember, Twitter still rules the roost! Trump's Twitter account is a game changer, whether you, me, or anybody likes it, is not the point. So, as the American public moves into 2018 keep an eye on the bird, tweet, tweet, tweet. That's the way I see it, today, January 8th, 2018.
Well, 2017 is coming to a close. Here is a quick review. Donald Trump is your President. Tax reform was passed and signed. Obamacare still rules the roost. North Korea still hates America and wants to nuke it. China and Russia still invest billions to keep the USA at bay, all the while still trying to sell us stuff. European Islamic cultural suicide defines the the E.U. The U.S. stock market has gone bananas, highest in history. Unemployment has reached a 17 year record low in the U.S. The "vagina-heads" who protested the election of Donald Trump last year failed to show up at their annual convention. The NFL is losing, losing, losing. ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, SafeSpaces, Snowflakes, shooting police officers, kneeling at football games, and "gay cakes" seemed to have lost momentum. Weinstein, Rose, Laurer, Smiley, Williams, Franken, Moore, Spacey, Keillor, to name a few...are gone and sexual harassment is political correctness. The Democrats have found morality. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. The Palestinians still hate the Jews. The United Nations is stupid. Allah-Akbar is still used as a battle cry to kill innocents. The U.S. and Israel are now friends. Antisemitism motivates European Jews to move out of Europe. Largest fire in California's history continues to burn. Electric self driving cars projected to overtake the car market by 2025. Children don't know how to socialized with people without using their cellphones. Boeing to buy Embraer. CVS and Walgreens want to be your new health care provider. The Republicans are barely holding onto power, lost last election for senator. Hillary Clinton's book, "What Happened," still does not know "what happened?" John Kerry and Barack Obama may be indicted for aiding and abetting terrorism over Iran and Hezbollah. Democrats still want to impeach Donald Trump. Minimum wage hikes have gained major political support. UFOs are back in the headlines, U.S. military releases UFO tracking videos. Star Wars still making money. Hollywood plans to start publishing sexual behavior training films. The U.S. media, drive-bys, continue to publish "fake news." Record number of people now flying on airlines. Social media monopolies to be broken up. The internet is still a "free for all," threatening worldwide dictatorships with democracy. Islam still alienates the West. The West still alienates Islam. Asian economies projected to dominate industrial production for the next decade. Apple admits it cheated its customers. Anything else? Please reply below! That's the way I see it, today, December 23rd, 2017!
This last week something occurred which hasn't happened since 1948. Of course, for those of you familiar with history, that was the year Israel was recognized by the United Nations to become an independent state for the Jewish people. At that time, Europe was still recovering from a devastating war and Hitler's dream of exterminating all the Jews in the world almost came true. By this time, the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires had vanished, in their place, a mis-mash of new countries predetermined by magic markers on a map. Jordan here, Iraq there, lets call this one Iran, oh, wait, lets call this one Yugoslavia, and the list goes on ad-infinitum. Some of the borders that were drawn had nothing to do with religious or ethnic considerations, but rather done for political and expedience issues. The result, chaos. Some of these new found countries made it, others did not. Some were successful, others a total sham. Israel, however, was different. The powers that be, the United Nations, actually agreed and voted for it. Democracy, or at least the semblance of it, brought back a country that had not existed since the Roman Empire. Seventy years later, this tiny country is a powerhouse, not just economically, but in multiple areas of medicine, water conservation, defense, high-tech, agriculture exports, and the list goes on. Today, it is known as the "start up nation." While antisemitism waned after the end of World War II, Arab nations kept the world at bay by constantly attacking this little country. The Arab wars against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973 can be found in the annals of history. The Arabs lost every one. However, Arab discontent with the State of Israel has never wavered. The Arab/Muslim boycott is a case in point. Ever since the creation of Israel the Arabs have refused to buy and have encouraged other nations from purchasing anything from the Land of the Jews. The Arab/Muslim insanity toward this little country knows no limits. If anything, and I mean anything, doesn't go their way they throw a temper tantrum which usually results in loss of life. Intifada one, two, three, let us show you how mean we can be... I for one am sick and tired of all this crap. Palestine, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, whatever. From my perspective, the Arabs are spoiled misled little children that continually throw tizzy fits if they don't get their way. The pursuit of Peace is irrelevant. The Arabs and Muslims don't want peace, they want every Jew and Christian dead, period. They prove this fact on a daily basis, not by what they say, but by what they do. The military forces of Iran at this moment are building bases just across the border of Israel with Assad's permission. These bases don't have swimming pools or spas, but they do have all the armaments they can muster. Is that peace? Of course not.
President Donald Trump's statement recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel is long over due. Seventy years over due. Kowtowing to the political left, Arab Jew haters, oil driven monopolies is over. If peace is to come to the Middle East it will be when Saudi Arabia acknowledges Jerusalem as the Capital of the State of Israel and builds their embassy there. Then, and only then, will peace be achieved. I encourage all Arab/Muslim nations to reform their hatred of all things not Islam and embrace democracy, tolerance, and open minded free thought. If however you prefer war, as has been your history for over thirteen hundred years, I am sure the West, Russia, China, and the USA will obliged you. That's the way I see it, today, December 10, 2017. And, oh, Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel.
Well, the "drive by" media certainly had a great week. The suspension of Brian Ross by ABC for lying to the American public for creating his own fake news started off the week. ABC and CNN all but admitted to last weeks lying and have submitted retractions, apologies, and suspensions. Let's review the facts. Dan Rather, Brian Williams, Brian Ross, Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer, Joy Behar, and others who I can't remember at the moment, all relish in the lime light of being paid outrageous amounts of money in order to create "fake news" and subsequently impact American politics. The fact that they got caught is not the point. Remember, none of these people act independently, they all work for the networks. The networks are not stupid. They have vast amount of monies and lawyers to cover any contingency and they use this to their advantage. In fact, the fact that these networks have not been given fines just proves my point. The media, the networks, the "deep state" inside D.C. are all in unison as they collude together to control just "what America should think." Make no mistake, this is a very effective collective effort. One of their greatest failures though occurred twelve months ago. After lying for over two years about the truth, I.E. the voting polls, Donald Trump handed Hillary Clinton one of the biggest setbacks in American politics and won the Presidency with a landslide. Evidently, many Americans, then, as well as today, do NOT believe anything the media system tells them. However, do not take this lightly. The American media system is very powerful, still extremely effective, and certainly will not give up their current position of influence. Money talks, money drives the "drive by media," and money still continues to influence everything you see and hear. What has changed is this. The "people" are now very aware of this shill game and are starting to fight back. The "networks" are being held accountable and people are being fired, sued, embarrassed, and/or being forced to resign. The latest sexual revolution initiated by Megan Kelly is a great example. If you went on a date in 1966 and kissed your girlfriend or patted her on the ass, then, according to November 2017 standards, you are a pervert, sexual deviant, molester, if not just a downright criminal and should be treated accordingly. This misogynistic philosophy being applied helter-skelter to anyone who looks twice at a woman is certainly out of control. The fact that this technique applied to take down Republicans has reversed course and is literally nuking the Democratic liberal establishment is, by itself, entertaining. What is the phrase, "what comes around, goes around?" In any event, under the current climate of self-introspection, the "news media system" seems to be going through an "internal cleanse." One that would make all colonoscopy clinics proud! And yes, that's the way I see it, today, December 10th, 2017.
Yesterday, at 2.37 a.m. North Korea decided to launch yet another ICBM. For my readers who do not know what that is it stands for "inter-continental ballistic missile." This last launch went eleven times higher than the current international space station. In short, North Korea has just announced, without any fanfare, that they can hit any target in the United States, including Washington D.C.. Let me put this a different way. A punk dictator named Kim jong un has now threatened the entire world with a nuclear war. That's right, a nuclear war. Now, let that sink in. What ever has happened in the last year, the new sexual revolution (including the new Barbie LGBT doll,) the election on Donald Trump as President, mass shootings, the firing of Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer, the creation of "fake news," the failure to repeal Obamacare, the tax fiasco, or, as my teenage readers refer to as "whatever," all pale with this latest development on the Korean peninsula. Whatever our hopes an aspirations are to maintain peace, well, it is all jeopardized now. Decades of negotiations, detente, and "deals" with North Korea have failed, and failed miserably. Now, it is not whether or not a war will break out, it is whether or not how BIG it will become. Will there be an exchange of nuclear weapons? Will Japan now seek its own nuclear arsenal? Will South Korea just invade now? Will China and Russia step in to avert disaster? The assumption that all civilized societies do not want a nuclear exchange now seems false. Can this situation be contained? Will North Korea back down? How long will the West allow itself to be blackmailed? Here are the facts. Any war, any, will result in the end of the North Korean government. That is a "fait accompli." The real question is how messy will the war get. Will the war be limited to conventional weapons or will it escalate to a nuclear exchange. If a nuclear exchange begins, will the targets be limited to North Korea and the United States? Will other nations, China and Russia, decide to take advantage of the situation and launch a all out strike against their foe, the U.S., and of course, will the United States retaliate? And oh, don't forget the India/Pakistan problem. Hey, why not, maybe India and or Pakistan might see this a a good reason to take each other down. While all this might seem a little hypothetical, let's play this out. Would you personally allow Saddam Hussein to have a nuke? Just sayin! Yes, it is a stupid question and we all know the answer. However, Kim jong un now has one...hello. From my perspective, there is only one, and only one answer to this problem. China, Russia, Japan, NATO, and the United States must take a joint action to solve this problem. The rules have changed. It will only be with a concerted effort of this group of nations, as a unified force, will the solution present itself. After all, nobody wants a nuclear war...or do they? That's the way I see it, today, November 29th, 2018.
The death toll at a mosque in Egypt has exceeded 300 with a hundred more wounded. This is close to the worse terrorist attack Egypt has ever seen. Muslims killing Muslims. I write this article for many reasons, but one of the more important ones has to do with the leadership role Egypt has taken over the years. Egypt and Jordan are the only two Arab nations to sign and adhere to a peace treaty with Israel. For that, both of these nations have earned my respect. Taking a leadership role in the Arab world is precarious, at best. Just ask Anwar Sadat. Sadat's role in taking a peace initiative with Israel cost him his life. Yitzak Rabin's role as a "peacenik" also cost him his life. Leadership is not easy. The steadfast 40 year old peace accord between Egypt and Israel, while not perfect, has helped to stabilize the entire region. At least up to now. With the development of ISIS, a major terrorist organization, the Middle East is once again at a precipice. The Sunni-Shiite conflict continues and now the state of Iran and Saudi Arabia are preparing for war. The attack in Egypt yesterday exemplifies how far this conflict has gotten out of control. ISIS has managed to get a foothold in the Sinai as well as other regions in the world. No doubt, Egypt will retaliate, as well they should, but it should not be discounted how far this conflict has come. The Taliban, ISIS, Hezbollah, Houtis, Hamas, and others are really only the tip of the iceberg. Centuries of Sunni-Shiite conflicts are now coming to bear and the use of force is being applied exponentially. War is here. War has been coming. For all parties involved, it will be a messy business. The West has been drawn in, hook, line, and sinker. Remember 9/11? Remember the Marine bombing in Lebanon? Remember Qaddafi? Remember Saddam Hussein? ...and the list goes on and on. Today, there is a new ruler in Saudi Arabia and he is not going by the old rules. After arresting one-third of his family he has taken over the Saudi government. Change is here. The winds are blowing in, blowing in from everywhere. Saudi Arabia may enter into a new alliance with Israel to thwart Iran's plan for a takeover. Who saw that coming? Unfortunately, the innocent continue to die, they usually do. This latest attack in Egypt is just a precursor for things to come. Stand by, be ready, ready your defense. It ain't over till its over. I wonder what the Pharaohs would say? That's the way I see it, today, November 25th, 2017.
Al Franken, Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and now Charlie Rose, just to name a few, and don't forget Roy Moore, are now part of the sensationalism sweeping the country. Part of me, the biased part, does enjoy seeing the left eat their own. In fact, it appears there is a feast going on. All of these people are being tried in the public arena by allegations. Whether allegations are true or not, this is not a court of law, but the damage is the same, if not worse. I have always held the belief that the so called system is beyond corrupt and now it is proving that I am right. Hollywood, the media, and the political system have always, and I mean always, insulated itself with power and money. This is true today as it is in the past, and most likely, will continue into the future. Money begets power and power begets corruption and corruption has existed since they started putting it into the Bible. Corruption is old and pervasive and is unlikely to disappear tomorrow. Our media system is no longer limited to print and T.V. Social media, radio, and the internet have changed the game. Everyone, anyone, all of us are finding out that we are accountable. Chaos reigns. And, in my opinion, that is a good thing. Maybe the divisive nature of politics, Democrats vs. Republican, will come together as the public throws all the bad into the sexual pit of accusations. At least, here, they can find a consensus, finally. We will see. Keep in mind, both sides are guilty. Cell phones, police cameras, and surveillance cameras are all starting to bear reality. It is hard to ignore the truth when you see it live on networks. The downfall of Charlie Rose is a mile marker. This one will hurt and have long term ramifications which will be hard to predict. I have always enjoyed his shows, even though he was a little too left for me. Unfortunately, history will decide. Like Bill Clinton, Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods, falling from grace and hero status hurts, it hurts them and hurts us, all of us. What lessons can we learn from all of this? Putting all of our faith into people will always prove precarious. People are fallible, hero status usually can not be maintained, eventually, they will fall. The fall of Charlie Rose, well not similar to that of Lance Armstrong, will again have a massive impact on society. In the end, morality prevails. Hopefully, we will all learn once again that vigilance is an ever present element of a democratic republic. While we all are flabbergasted at the crimes coming out into the public, surely we are not surprised. The end result, hopefully, will be a society that is more conscientious and accountable. That's a good thing. That's the way I see it, today, November 21st, 2018.
My heart is heavy, again. Sutherland Springs, Texas, 26 dead, 20 plus wounded, shot while going to church. I don't have any answers. I don't have any solutions. I only have questions...
Do as many people go to church today as they did in 1920? Does raising our children without two parents (40 of families only have one parent) have anything to do with disrupting our culture? Could a massive unemployment rate of 92 million people out of work cause problems in our society? Does the constant bickering in the Federal Government make you happy or sad? How about the media lies, biased reporting, and constant drumbeat of nonsensical bullshit, does that bother you? Does the corruption of the political parties ever make you wonder if your living in Alice in Wonderland? How about over two decades of constant war...does that get your dander up? Does reading about dead Americans in San Diego, NYC, Orlando, Texas and Las Vegas bother you, does it keep you up at night? Does letting terrorists, drug cartels, and just plain criminals into our country every day have anything with why we have so much crime in the USA? Does misguided Black Live Matters, ANTIFA gangs, white supremacists, 99 and 3 per-centers ever get to you? Do you feel safe sending your kids to public school? How about the Hollywood rapists and pedophiles, do they get your attention? Do you believe that a socialist government is the solution to all your problems? Should "big brother" take care of you all the time? Are you happy living in your parents basement? Do you like being called a "snowflake?" Are you a happy millennial with over a hundred thousand dollars of college debt and no job? Do you believe that this shit can get worse? Is there a civil war coming to a neighborhood near you? (Oh, if you live in Chicago, Detroit, DC its already there.) Do you think if we took every single gun off the street people would stop killing each other? Is the American culture fucked up? How come other countries with shit-loads of guns don't kill each other? How about killing people with trucks and knives, do you like that?
What has happened to America? Where are the dreams? Why are we killing each other? Just who is the enemy, your next door neighbor? What gives? Questions, questions, questions. If we don't start asking them and finding solutions this crap is going to get worse, much worse, before it gets better. That's the way I see it, today, November 5th, 2017.
Whether you "like" President Trump or not is irrelevant. Donald Trump is your President. All the hatred in the world, dis-information from the media, political rhetoric from both parties, and "feelings" of negativity will not change this fact. After hearing about the "hating on Trump" yesterday from the Bush family one inescapable fact is apparent. The Bush family and political dynasty mirrors that of the Obama's. What both parties fail to understand is the following. President Donald Trump broke up the Democratic/Republican establishments and set a new precedent in modern elections. Breaking from party tradition, Trump told the electorate that he will represent them, not the party. Too this day the Republican Party is so furious they can't see straight. Hey, for over eight years you did not hear a peep out of the Bush dynasty. Now, a year into Trump's presidency they are coming out swinging. Here's why. The Republican party can't control or manage even their own party. They know it and are desperately trying take it back. All the effort in the world can't produce a "take back." The American electorate is now keen to "party tactics" and demands the truth, they also demand accountability. A good example of Republican Party failure is the failure to repeal Obamacare. Even with a majority, they squabbled among themselves, refused to represent the people, and produced NOTHING. Pitiful. What is apparent is that President Donald Trump is a disruptor, plain and simple. As with all disruptors, change is the basic format, change followed with unparalleled success. President Donald Trump was successful, he won the election. Now, for my Democratic friends, the basic format of your party, lies and hatred, has to change. The people of the United States now demand that you actually put forth a "platform" for your party. If they fail to do this the Democratic Party will not recover from its historic losses last November. The "rigging" of the Democratic Party in favor of Hillary Clinton has now disillusioned many Democratic voters who most likely will not return to the polls in the next election. The corruption of the Clinton dynasty may not be able to survive the court system. Here is my take on the entire political process. America is changing. Our political system is being re-defined. We may, hopefully, see the emergence of a multi-party system, which in my opinion is long overdue. Keep in mind, the success of the American political system is chaos, the more chaos, the more success. Sounds counter-intuitive, its not. Since 1776 this has been our tradition, democracy is messy, always has been, always will be. I would love to see the emergence of a viable and strong third party if not more. America needs to move forward, needs to change, needs to embrace the future and needs to set new goals. Let's move forward and "Make America Great Again!" That's the way I see it, today, November 11th, 2017.
