So, with the manufacturing capacity of Russia, the Persian perchance for religious lunacy, and the Turkish aspirations of forming a new Caliphate, well, sure, it will all work out. FYI, the era of moving massive armies around is long over. Today's warfare uses terrorist tactics, cruise missiles, satellite recognizance, and tit for tat bombing. The latest war in Syria proves that this is very effective, so far, over half-a-million dead and counting. What remains is as follows. How far will Russia and Iran push their objectives? Will Iran be willing to be bombed into the Dark Ages as it pursues its quest to annihilate the State of Israel? Will Russia blink? As for the Turks, I believe they are just in it for the ride. They fought the Russians in World War One and have managed to stay on the sidelines militarily ever since. It would be very surprising indeed to see Turkey go all out for war, a war which will certainly not be in their interest. Iran is another matter. One can not, nor can I, predict the future when it come to religious zealots. While they play a cool game, underneath there is a very sinister intent.
The one hole card in this entire game is the new player in town. He is not a politician, he hates bullshit, and is not afraid to take action. He also really doesn't give a shit about what anybody thinks about him. And I for one would think twice about pushing him around. He is indeed holding the "Trump Card." That's the way I see it, today, April 25th, 2018.
